Candice is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology from the University of British Columbia. Prior to becoming a counsellor, Candice worked in a multitude of careers in non-profit, the public school system, and post-secondary. Eventually, the decision to pursue a career in counselling evolved from her curiosity in people and their stories, and her desire to share in one’s vulnerability and healing journey.

Candice views mental health holistically. She believes that individuals inherently want to thrive but struggle due to internal and/or external barriers. Her practice is client-centred, collaborative, and integrative. She utilizes techniques from various modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Systemic Therapy. Candice is committed to creating a space that is non-judgemental and culturally safe. She believes foundational to the effectiveness of counselling is the therapeutic relationship between her and her clients.

Candice works with children, youth, adults, and families. She welcomes you to contact her for a free consultation to discuss any questions you may have and whether she is suitable to meet your counselling needs. She looks forward to connecting with you.
