Lisa Buss is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology from the University of Victoria. She has a variety of experience helping both individuals and couples move towards healing through counselling.
One of Lisa’s beliefs is that experiencing peace and freedom in our struggles is within everyone’s reach, and she partners with her clients to explore their concerns in order to create an individual path of healing. Through an integrated counselling approach, Lisa helps clients explore experiences related to depression, anxiety, grief and loss, PTSD/trauma, and shame.
Lisa understands that relationships are a significant part of our well-being and that they involve many complexities. She utilizes Emotionally Focused Therapy to help facilitate opportunities to rebuild connection when working with couples.
Exploring painful hurts takes courage, and Lisa has a deep respect for her clients and their brave willingness to move towards healing. She feels immensely grateful to walk with individuals and couples in that journey.
Lisa has called a few places home, from the northern mountains of Terrace BC to the prairies of Edmonton AB. She’s been in Victoria BC for a few years now and lives here with her husband. Lisa enjoys all things creative including photography, music, and the outdoors.
