RACHEL NESS
Providing specialized therapy for eating disorders, life and career transitions, and anxiety.
About Me
Rachel is a somatic counsellor serving adults and teens on the South Island and across British Columbia. She is passionate about supporting people with eating disorders, disordered eating, body image challenges, career and life transitions, anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, and stress. Her values include weight neutrality, respect, inclusivity, anti-oppressive practice, bodily autonomy, and collaboration. She has worked with people from many walks of life, including the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, people with eating disorders, university faculty and staff, survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence, and justice system-involved individuals.
Rachel offers a warm, collaborative, and playful space where all aspects of people are welcome. When she is not counselling, she enjoys going on adventures with her partner, cuddling with her cats and dog, listening to audiobooks and fiction podcasts, printmaking, and playing in bodies of water.
