ADULTS, COUPLES & FAMILY

Alyssa Vincent

Supporting people in counselling brings Alyssa genuine joy and purpose! She is passionate about helping people feel more connected to themselves, more at ease in their relationships, more grounded, and able to experience life in a meaningful way.

As a registered clinical counsellor, Alyssa works with youth (12+) and parents, as well as adults who are navigating a wide range of experiences, including anxiety, overwhelm, ADHD, neurodiversity, trauma, life transitions, identity exploration, and relationship challenges. She also supports those who may feel disconnected from themselves or uncertain about how to move forward in life.

Clients often describe feeling deeply seen, safe, and accepted in their work with Alyssa. With teens, Alyssa creates a space that feels genuinely non-judgmental, supportive, and pressure-free, where they can show up as they are and feel safe to share and work together. With parents, Alyssa offers a compassionate, non-judgmental environment to navigate the complexities of parenting while fostering stronger connection and communication within the family. With adults, Alyssa's work often focuses on slowing things down, reconnecting inward, understanding patterns and emotions while building new skills and tools to navigate challenging life situations and cultivating a more grounded and fulfilling way of being.

With an approach that is warm, non-judgmental, relational, and collaborative Alyssa takes the time to get to know each client as a whole person, not just their challenges, but their strengths, values, and lived experiences. She integrates trauma-informed somatic therapy, nervous system regulation, Brainspotting, parts work (Internal Family Systems), and Interpersonal Neurobiology, among other evidence-based practices, to support emotional awareness, regulation, and sustainable change.

Outside of work, Alyssa follows what sparks curiosity, creativity, and joy. She loves going to the beach, practicing qigong in the park, painting and sculpting, traveling, attending tea ceremonies, and learning about astrology.
