All services at The Budding Elm are designed to strengthen and increase self-esteem and self-respect, promote mental health and positive body image, and address issues relating to improving quality of life.

We do this through Individual, Family and Group Counselling, Individual and Family Consultation Services and carefully chosen energetic and therapeutically appropriate programs.

  • CPCA Members are Registered Professional Counsellors and Master Practitioners in Clinical Counselling who are regulated and have received the RPC and/or MPCC designations upon meeting competency-based criterion for membership.

  • This agency of PHSA provides a diverse range of provincial specialized one-of-a-kind mental health and substance use services and provincial leadership for system-wide improvements through their work in health promotion & illness prevention, knowledge exchange, research and academic teaching.

Foundry BC

  • Foundry Victoria offers a range of wellness services for young people ages 12-24, including physical and mental health care, substance use supports, social services and peer support. Foundry Victoria opened in May 2018.

Victoria Youth Empowerment Society

  • YES provides prevention, intervention, treatment and education for youth, their families/caregivers and the broader community. 

 

Boys & Girls Club of Greater VIctoria

Family Services of Greater Victoria

Bridges for Women Society

  • They offer employment training and supportive programs that inspire women impacted by violence or abuse, to reclaim their lives and build economic stability. 


Men's Trauma Centre

  • The Men’s Trauma Centre exists to provide treatment and support services to adult and late adolescent males who are survivors of physical, emotional or sexual trauma as well as support for our clients’ significant others.


Victoria Native Friendship Centre

  • Dedicated to improving the quality of life for Aboriginal people in the Greater Victoria area, the Victoria Native Friendship Centre (VNFC) delivers Career and Employment services, Health and Social programs, vibrant Youth initiatives, and dynamic Arts and Cultural practices.


Pacific Centre Family Service Association

  • Pacific Centre Family Services Association is dedicated to maintaining outstanding services for the people we work with through education, counselling and creative programming. We have locations in Colwood, Langford and Sooke.


The Mustard Seed Family Centre

  • At the Family Centre, families sign up to be part of a community dedicated to education. They offer an empowering program of courses, workshops, and seminars designed to equip families with necessary skills and resources.


1UP | Single Parent Resource Centre

  • 1Up, Victoria Single Parent Resource Centre, provides practical support, opportunities for growth and a sense of hope for one-parent families across Greater Victoria.


Big Brothers Big Sisters

  • Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring programs for children enhance their sense of belonging, self-worth, resiliency and capacity to make healthy, well-informed choices. They serve children between the ages 7-18 in all communities on Southern Vancouver Island.


Burnside Gorge Community Association

  • The Burnside Gorge Community Association provides family resource programs and services that respond to the needs of families in the areas such as family outreach, parent & child programs, childcare, a youth centre and special events.


Esquimalt Neighbourhood House Society

  • The services are offered for the Greater Victoria community: family resource programs, counselling for adults and youth, Triple P parenting, prenatal support, and support for seniors.
